Portland is home to great seafood, foggy mornings and delicious, free-range root beer. Maine Root has been making root beer cruelty-free in Portland since 2001. Check out all the great photos Dylan took of root beer…free in the wild. Most of these little guys were spotted on the Maine Root farm. A few of them had wandered off into the Maine backcountry. Upon leaving Portland and heading west, we saw a few as far away as Bridgton. Bridgton is a little town near the New Hampshire border. We caught a few sunbathing on a dock on Moose Pond. Check out the photos!

Bottles of Maine Root enjoy a delightful romp through some of the greenest fields we've ever seen.

Free-range root beer stays in small herds. They each take turns being the leader.

Maine Root root beer was surprisingly playful. They especially enjoyed games of hide-and-seek. We lost every time.

Although they were shy at first, one brave little soul ventured towards us and ate out of the palm of Dylan's hand. His little friends came soon after.

Maine Root bottles on their free-range farm enjoy the sound of babbling brooks. This is much better than the hum of a flourescent light.
